Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped

1 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup onion, finely diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp paprika

Olive oil, for grilling

Burger buns (4)

Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, and extra cheddar cheese

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, diced onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until all ingredients are well combined, but do not overmix.

Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about 1 inch thick. Refrigerate for about 20-30 minutes to help them firm up.

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat and lightly brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on one side, then carefully flip them. Continue cooking for another 5-6 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the patties are golden brown.

If desired, add a slice of additional white cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking. Cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a skillet for a minute or two until golden.

Assemble each burger by placing the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun and adding your choice of toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Add the top bun and serve immediately.
