2 cans (15 oz each) white beans (cannellini or great northern), rinsed and drained

1 cup homemade or store-bought basil pesto

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Prepare Beans: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rinsed white beans, garlic powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix gently to avoid mashing the beans.

      Mix Pesto: Fold in the pesto until the beans are evenly coated.

        Add Tomatoes: Gently stir in the halved cherry tomatoes, ensuring they're evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

          Layer in Baking Dish: Drizzle olive oil in a 9x13-inch (or similar size) baking dish. Spread the bean and pesto mixture evenly in the dish.
