Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

20 wonton wrappers

1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

Vegetable oil (for frying)

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting or chocolate sauce for drizzling

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Mix until smooth and well blended.

Place a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Using a teaspoon, place a small dollop (about 1 tablespoon) of the cream cheese mixture in the center of the wrapper.

Lightly brush the edges of the wonton wrapper with the beaten egg to help seal it.

Fold the wrapper over to create a triangle shape, pressing the edges to seal tightly. You can also pinch the edges for a decorative look.

Repeat the process with the remaining wonton wrappers and cream cheese mixture.

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat (about 350°F/175°C). Make sure there’s enough oil to submerge the wontons.

Fry the wontons in batches, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Use a slotted spoon to transfer the fried wontons to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Allow the wontons to cool for a minute, then dust them with powdered sugar or drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired. Serve warm for the best taste!
