Ingredients

For the Meatballs:

1 lb ground beef (or ground pork)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp garlic, minced

1 tbsp ginger, minced

1 tsp black pepper

1 egg, beaten

For the Spicy Mayo Dip:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp sesame oil

1 tsp honey (optional)

1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)

Extra green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and the beaten egg. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Form Meatballs: Using your hands, take small portions of the meat mixture and roll them into balls about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs: Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and nicely browned on the outside. You can flip them halfway through for even cooking if desired.

Prepare the Spicy Mayo Dip: While the meatballs are baking, make the spicy mayo dip. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Sriracha, lemon juice, sesame oil, and honey (if using). Adjust the Sriracha to your preferred level of spiciness.

Serve: Once the meatballs are done baking, transfer them to a serving platter. Drizzle some of the spicy mayo dip over the meatballs, and serve the remaining dip on the side for dipping.

Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top for an additional touch of flavor and presentation.
