4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz (225g) linguine or spaghetti

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup baby spinach (optional)

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Cook the Pasta:

    - In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
