Garlic Butter chicken Bites

Ingredients
  

1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried thyme)

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Juice of 1 lemon

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes, for a bit of heat

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Season the bite-sized chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Make sure they are evenly coated.

    Melt the Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it starts to bubble.

      Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not burnt.

        Cook Chicken: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned chicken bites to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown on all sides.

          Add Herbs and Lemon Juice: Once the chicken is cooked, add thyme and lemon juice to the skillet. Toss everything together to combine and let it cook for an additional minute.

            Serve: Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top for garnish and, if desired, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for heat.
