4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

3 tablespoons olive oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

    Brown the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

      Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to let it burn.

        Add Spices and Broth: Stir in dried thyme, oregano, and red pepper flakes. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer.

          Make it Creamy: Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce has thickened slightly.

            Return Chicken to the Skillet: Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet, spooning the creamy sauce over each piece. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat through and meld the flavors.
