8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or rotini works best)

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced

6 slices of bacon, chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup (240ml) heavy cream

1 cup (240ml) chicken broth

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup (100g) frozen peas

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon. Cook until crispy, approximately 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove the bacon from the skillet and place it on paper towels to drain excess grease, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.

      Sauté the Chicken: In the same skillet, add olive oil (if needed) and diced chicken. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

        Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, and stir to combine. Add the ranch dressing mix, whisking until smooth. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

          Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta, chicken, frozen peas, and half of the crispy bacon to the skillet. Stir well to coat everything in the creamy ranch sauce. Allow to cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

            Add Cheese & Serve: Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

              Garnish: Serve the creamy chicken bacon ranch pasta in bowls; sprinkle with the remaining bacon and fresh parsley for garnish.
