Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

3 cups fresh broccoli florets (or frozen, thawed)

1 cup cooked white rice (or quinoa for a healthier option)

1 cup cheddar cheese, grated (plus extra for topping)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional for a little kick)

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Broccoli: If using fresh broccoli, steam the florets until bright green and slightly tender (about 5 minutes). If using frozen, make sure to thaw and drain excess moisture.

Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine cooked chicken, steamed broccoli, cooked rice, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir until well blended.

Assemble Casserole: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Add Topping: In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs with a little melted butter (about 2 tablespoons) for extra flavor. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole, followed by a sprinkle of additional cheddar cheese on top.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.

Serve: Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then serve warm with your favorite side dishes.
