Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey (seasoned with taco seasoning)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)

1/2 cup black beans (rinsed and drained)

1/4 cup corn (canned or frozen)

1/4 cup diced tomatoes (drained, fresh or canned)

1/4 cup sliced green onions

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: diced jalapeños for heat

Cooking spray

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.

In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground meat, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean, flat surface and separate into triangles. You can also press the seams together to create larger rectangles if desired.

Spoon about 2 tbsp of the cheesy taco filling onto the wide end of each triangle.

Starting at the wide end, roll up each triangle tightly towards the point. Place the rolled taco sticks seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

Optional: If you want to add heat, sprinkle diced jalapeños over the top of the taco sticks.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Allow the cheesy taco sticks to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve with guacamole, sour cream, or salsa for dipping.
