Baked Feta Pasta

Ingredients
  

1 block (8 oz) of feta cheese

2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

Salt and pepper, to taste

12 oz pasta of your choice (penne, rigatoni, or spaghetti)

Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    In a 9x13 inch baking dish, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, minced garlic, olive oil, dried oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

      Place the block of feta cheese in the center of the tomato mixture, ensuring the tomatoes surround it.

        Drizzle a little more olive oil over the feta if desired, and season with extra salt and pepper if needed.

          Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the tomatoes are blistered and the feta is soft.

            While the feta and tomatoes are baking, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

              Once the feta is done, remove the baking dish from the oven. Use a fork to mash the feta and mix everything together to create a creamy sauce.

                Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss until the pasta is well coated with the feta and tomato mixture.

                  Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
