200g fresh udon noodles

3 tablespoons chili oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1-inch piece of ginger, minced

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 green onion, sliced (for garnish)

1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Optional: 1 cup cooked proteins (shrimp, chicken, or tofu) or steamed vegetables

Instructions
 

Cook the Udon Noodles: In a pot of boiling water, add the fresh udon noodles. Cook according to package instructions until tender, usually about 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Drain and set aside.

    Prepare the Sauce: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chili oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well to create a flavorful sauce.
